Kalkaya (Bindayaka Devi) Mata Mandir is a 1070-year-old temple situated 1 km inside Jhalana Leopard Reserve. It is popularly called as Kali Mata Mandir. Tourists coming to explore Jhalana National Park via Jeep safari must go to this temple to offer Pooja to goddess Kali. The entry gate of this temple and the entry gate for the Jhalana Leopard Safari is just adjacent to each other. Devotees those who are willing to explore one of the oldest Kali temple of the Jaipur City then you need to travel approx. one kilometre from the entry gate which is also an entry gate of the Leopard Safari.

Kalkaya Jhalana

An ancient temple of Maa Kali Devi is situated in between the Jhalana Hills Just beside the Jhalana reserve forest. You can enter from Apex Circle for Leopard Safari Park which is around 1 km away from the main gate of the safari park. The road is the zigzag type and feels full of nature till reaches the temple. It is a superb place where you can find the mental peace and rejuvenate your mind and body and see eye soothing beauty specially in the morning you can find the lot of birds and there is white rats and rabbits also there huge number of piccolos and doves are there. The pandit staffs are very friendly. Visiting the temple in Morning time is best but you can also see the temple in the afternoon too. Vehicle Entry Timing: 06:00 AM to 09:00 AM

Visiting Time During Summer Season: 06:30 PM to 07:30 PM

Visiting Time During Winter Season: 05:00 PM to 06:00 PM

During Navaratri, the temple is open for devotees from 05:00 AM to 08:00 PM)

Some Important Instructions: Putting food items on animals, carrying polythene and playing loudspeakers are strictly prohibited in the Jhalana reserved forest area. Hence Temple area is also covered under the protection Jhalana Forest Department, so please maintain the dignity of the forest and wildlife and do not disturb anyone by your wrongful act. You are strictly adhere by the rules and regulations of the forest department.
